The Power of Song Inc. launches CauseVox crowdfunding campaign

The effort to bring the Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song to the world began today with the launch of The Power of Song Inc.'s crowdfunding campaign on CauseVox.

The campaign aims to carry the production to Detroit, Mich., Annapolis, Md., and to Europe, after calls for a touring show following the January 2016 production. The campaign has officially launched.

The tour has two goals: 1) to share Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song with the world; 2) to expose youth in the cast to places that might not otherwise see.
