St. Petersburg, Fla., artist James Spruill painted this mural in 2014 to support the inaugural production of Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song in support of writer, director September Penn, who co-founded The Power of Song Inc. and serves as its CEO and Artistic Director. The mural has been used as the step-and-repeat during performances of the production.
Music is an integral part of The Power of Song. Above are some of the many singers and musicians who work with the organization.
